Project Overview
Universe Playground Games is a mobile sandbox project with both multiplayer and single-player modes, multiple maps, player interactions, skins, emotes, and physics-based gameplay. I joined the project after the initial development phase and worked with the team to expand gameplay features, multiplayer logic, maps, modes, UI, and optimization.
My Role
- Unity developer on an existing live project, working alongside other developers and designers
- Expanded multiplayer and single-player sandbox gameplay after the initial development phase
- Implemented Photon-related gameplay features and player-facing systems
- Maintained updates, optimization work, and feature support for a live mobile project
What I Built
- Implemented and maintained gameplay features for both multiplayer and single-player sandbox modes
- Worked with Photon multiplayer systems, including player-facing features, networked interactions, skin purchases, emotes, and emote animations
- Added new maps, gameplay modes, player interaction logic, and physics-based mechanics such as falling, pushing, fighting, and elimination-style gameplay
- Improved the connection between single-player and multiplayer gameplay flows
- Supported project optimization, updates, feature maintenance, and live development alongside other developers and designers
